Library Apprenticeship

Learn what it takes to work as a Library Assistant or Librarian in a one-on-one apprenticeship with Great Barrington Libraries!

Unlike typical RSYP programming, there will not be an RSYP staff member present for the apprenticeship. However, all library employees have background checks, and the Apprenticeship Coordinator, Kate, will check in with the apprentice several times throughout the apprenticeship.

For ages 14-17

When? Thursdays, October 3 - November 21

Fall 2024 Culinary Apprenticeship

In the culinary apprenticeship, you will learn new cooking skills and get a behind-the-scenes look at the culinary world. Learn from Chefs Zee Vassos of No. 10 and Kevin Kelley of After Hours! The apprenticeship will be based at No. 10 in Great Barrington, but we may travel to different restaurants and other culinary businesses to learn about different cuisines and different parts of the culinary industry.

For ages 14-25

When? Mondays, October 21 - December 9
