Berkshire teens get hands-on experience with culinary apprenticeship program

EGREMONT, Mass. - Twice a month, chef Dan Smith opens his kitchen at the John Andrews Farmhouse Restaurant in Egremont to a group of students as part of the Railroad Street Youth Project's culinary apprenticeship program.

  • Classes are taught by local restaurant chefs, like Dan Smith of the John Andrews Farmhouse Restaurant

  • Many of the students are building their skills to work at a restaurant in the future
