Counseling & Advocacy

RSYP staff and a social worker provide advocacy and counseling services to young people facing a range of challenges including: homelessness, eviction, food assistance, court involvement, unsafe home conditions, challenges in their family life (divorce, addiction), substance abuse or addiction, unsafe, unhealthy, or challenging relationships, pregnancy, grief, suicidal thoughts or other mental health issues and issues related to school. Our social worker offers free, one-on-one counseling on a drop-in basis weekly and collaborates with program staff to provide referrals to outside resources and agencies with the goal of developing a comprehensive support system that brings all of our resources together to meet each young person’s needs.

RSYP Social Worker, Leo Rosa is available on Tuesdays, from 3-7PM on a walk-in basis at our Drop-In Center. No appointment or insurance required!
