5th Annual 411 in the 413 Youth Conference

The annual “411 in the 413″ will take place at Hancock Shaker Village on Friday, April 1.

We are looking for INNOVATIVE, INTERACTIVE workshop facilitators for the conference.  That’s why WE NEED YOU!

Please fill out the attached form via paper or electronic means, and return to us by Jan. 15th if you would be willing to host a workshop.  It would be really great to have a lot of different creative and practical industries from our community represented.  You could present workshops on anything that is interesting or special to you–use this as an opportunity to share your interests outside of what you do on a daily basis–or, share expertise from your field of work and recruit local youth to get involved!

Sample topics:
How to interview for a job
How to buy a car
How to save money
Emotional support for living proud!
Careers in Marketing
How to publish your own written work
Careers in Non-Profits
Healthy Relationships
How to cook healthy, inexpensive meals
Youth Activism
Cycling across America
Making your first movie
….etc.!!!  The options are unlimited!

Please feel free to pass this on to friends!

If you are interested we need an email confirmation with a brief description of your workshop and a title as soon as possible. We will need to have your full proposal ASAP.

Please contact Sarita Orobio-Wolff (intern): email hidden; JavaScript is required or Lannie Moore: email hidden; JavaScript is required.
