Photovoice Project

‘Photovoice’ is a photography project in which participants will take to the streets with camera in hand,  photographing what they perceive as the positive as well as negative aspects of their community. They will then learn how to edit, print, and caption photos that best represent their voice on these subjects.

The project will begin in April with two workshops about composition and camera techniques,  taught by local photographers. The participants will  have one week to take photos, coming back together the last week in April to edit and prepare them for public display.  We will have an exhibit and opening reception in May.  Anyone interested in participating should contact Natalie at email hidden; JavaScript is required or call 413.528.2475.
